Amid controversy on the set of the photoshoot, Cheryl Cole will be the cover girl of British Vogue for February. This has to be a dream come true for the shining Girls Aloud’s star and popular X-factor judge, who has been known as more of a high street doll than a high fashion style icon.
Apparently didn’t exactly hit it off with the stylist on the set. There were heated discussions about clothing choice which led Cheryl to leave the shoot early. Even though things weren’t exactly a breeze on set, Cheryl will still have the honor of adorning a Vogue cover.
So there you go, another reality show star has been filtered through the mainstream to be accepted by the fashion elite. This reminds me of the first time Kylie Minogue made the cover of British Vogue, which was the birth of the singer as a fashion icon.
