The Charlie the Unicorn Art Car is Being Built for Burning Man

The Charlie the Unicorn Art Car may be the greatest Kickstarter project of all time. Ken, aka the Penguin, is seeking funding to create an art car for Burning Man designed to look like Charlie the Unicorn from the hit YouTube video of the same name.

If you haven't seen Charlie the Unicorn, I highly recommend watching it before you read any further. The Charlie the Unicorn Art Car will be built on a 1979 Chevy C60 Flatbed and be over 20 feet tall. The car will be designed in the shape of Candy Mountain with Charlie's head protruding from the front. The car will also have a lounge and a dance floor complete with DJ. While I do not plan to attend Burning Man, I do hope that this car becomes a reality, as it could pave the way for other viral video-inspired art cars.
