The 'Charles Kuonen Bridge,' the World's longest pedestrian suspension bridge, has finally opened in Switzerland, offering breathtaking views of the Swiss Alps to those brave enough to cross it.
The narrow bridge was completed in a mere 10 weeks by 'SWISSROPE.' The 1,621 foot long bridge is suspended 300 feet in the air at its highest point above the valley attracting the most audacious of adventurers, hikers and adrenaline seekers. The structure effectively links a two-day hiking trail, between Grächen and Zermatt and at two feet wide, requires a single file crossing.
