Invisible Bandages

The 'Chameleon Bandageis' is Designed to Blend into Your Skin

Getting an awkward scratch or bump before a big night out is certainly inconvenient, which is where the 'Chameleon Bandageis' comes in to save the day. The bandage is designed to blend into the wearer's skin, providing a seamless concealed covering.

Designers Xue Xing Wu, Zi Yu Li, Yue Hua Zhu and Zhi Qiang Wang crafted this camouflaging concept for the 2012 iF Design Talents competition. The invisible band-aid could revolutionize medical practices and make healing a less embarrassing process. Reconstructive surgery often requires awkwardly placed dressings and the same science could potentially be used for these larger gauzes. While the exact science of this miracle band-aid has yet to be revealed, it is likely to be the result of a chemical reaction.

The 'Chameleon Bandageis' keeps your wounds protected while staying undercover.
