Hubbards' Cereal for Kids Uses Language That Appeals to Children

Bugs, mud, ice cream and cookies are a few of the bold words that jump out to young ones on the boxes for Hubbards' cereal for kids. While names like Neapolitan Super Pops and Berry Tricks Mix might seem unhealthy to parents, reading some of the smaller print reveals the truly wholesome nature of the cereal with (important, but less exciting) words like fiber, nutrients and whole grains.

Rather than creating a box stamped with cute cartoon characters, Hubbards Kids uses images and text that speaks to children in a language they understand. When creating this packaging, Coats Design describes that it sought to channel the "chaotic, fun and random nature of kids’ minds," especially their "mind farts."
