When Cereal Box Art first crossed my eyes, I immediately dismissed it as outlandish. You cannot mess with Cap 'n Crunch or Tony the Tiger. However, once I made (an attempt at) one of the collages myself, I fully appreciated the difficulty making art out of breakfast cereal.
The world of pop art is always changing, looking for the next unique creation to bring to the masses. This is the case with cereal box art. The collection of collages use cereal boxes with bright colors and bold characters, creating a collage with pop culture appeal.
What is most fascinating about cereal box art is that the artists are able to stay true to the source material but add their unique take on the work.
