The Celine SS13 runway, shown during Paris Fashion Week, showcased many stylish ensembles. The real show-stealing pieces, however, were the fuzzy shoes.
Keeping to a strict monotone color scheme of black and white, Celine was able to emphasize a focus on textures and tailoring. The collection had a luxurious loungewear feel to it with lots of silky loose-fitted garments including high-waisted wraparound trousers, simple sheath dresses and long sleeve tops. In keeping with the laid back theme, the shoes were mostly fluffy slip-ons that could pass as bedroom slippers. The footwear ranged from black fuzzy flats to bright yellow and red soft pumps that looked quite cozy.
