The Louis Vuitton Catogram Collection Showcases the Designer's Own Cats

Designed with cat lovers in mind, the Louis Vuitton Catogram collection celebrates fabulous felines from around the world. Conceived by Nicolas Ghesquière and former Vogue creative director Grace Coddington, the Catogram collection features leather handbags and purses, cat-covered scarves, blankets, notebooks, key chains, and hats. The cats used in each piece are actually hand-drawn sketches of Coddington’s Persian cats, Pumpkin and Blanket, as well as other cat-inspired designs.

While the main focus of the Catogram collection is on felines, the capsule also contains numerous pieces inspired by Ghesquière’s Labrador - Léon. In addition to featuring adorable animals, the new collection also utilizes a new vintage bag design from 1934 known as Sac Tricot. Of course, LV put its own twist on the Sac Tricot by including Monogram Vernis and Epi leather, and a hexagonal chain link.
