Cat Perspective Maps

'Hiroshima Cat Street View' Lets You Explore Onomichi from a Cat's Height

'Hiroshima Cat Street View' is an extremely unique service -- it allows users to explore the city of Onomichi from a cat's point of view.

Essentially, a Google Maps for cats, this service has a livestream of various cat routes that stick to a certain area of the city. The cameras are at cat height that allows for a wider view of various shops, restaurants and services. Links are posted around the video of store websites and Facebook pages.

Users are able to select which route they want to watch, and a small profile of the cat tour guide is provided. Currently there are three paths to choose from, but there are more to come.

Although it may seem bizarre and gimmicky, providing people with alternate maps and views may become a modern way to explore foreign cities.
