The Castillo Mobile Office is a Seven-Square-Meter Unit on Wheels

The Castillo mobile office was designed by Buenos Aires–based studio Morsa Taller as a compact workspace that can be assembled quickly and relocated as needed. The structure measures seven square meters and sits on a wheeled base, allowing it to be moved between sites rather than remaining fixed in one location. It is composed of prefabricated components that are designed to be transported separately and assembled on site using basic hand tools. According to the project description, the office can be put together within a single day, making it suitable for temporary or flexible work scenarios.

The rectangular volume includes detachable facade panels that open to provide daylight and ventilation, along with a curved roof that helps manage rainwater runoff. Inside, the workspace is fitted with built-in elements such as a desk and storage components integrated into the compact footprint. The project was developed in collaboration with local fabricators in Buenos Aires and is intended for use in residential plots, rooftops, or semi-rural environments where permanent construction may not be practical.
