Caramel Architekten Works with a 5-Meter-Wide Lot

Caramel Architekten was not given much room to work with for the CJ5 House in Vienna. The requirements were to fit the abode into a 5 meter wide lot, which is a tight squeeze for anyone.

Despite these challenges, Caramel Architekten rose to the occasion, and managed to not only fit everything in, but also make it feel surprisingly spacious. This was achieved in part due to the high ceilings and deck area on the roof, which allows the residence to get outside for fresh air and expansive views. The high ceilings almost give this house a loft-like, industrial feel - something that's popular with many younger people.
