The Cara Delevingne Vogue Editorial Romanticizes the Past

The latest Cara Delevingne Vogue editorial -- she's been featured in the publication more times than I can count -- is appropriately titled 'Mod Goddess' and appears in the magazine's July 2014 issue.

The editorial puts Delevingne in the ranks of '60s superstars like Edie Sedgewick and Twiggy. Styled by fashion editor Grace Coddington, Delevingne wears sleek knee-high boots, mod prints (think animal print and polka-dots) and colored fur. Hair stylist Didier Maligne gave her a retro bouffant and makeup artist Linda Cantello added a smudgy, black eye-liner that looks like it's been applied almost as an afterthought (or, like it's been slept in. Repeatedly). All in all, Delevingne is a goddess among mortals (in this case, models Josh Nickerson and Matthew Whitehouse).

The editorial was lensed by the famous Mario Testino for the Vogue US July 2014 issue.
