Caputo’s Grilling Cheese is a new product being brought to the International Dairy Deli Bakery Association (IDDBA) on June 7 to 9, 2026 that taps into the demand for Latin and South American cuisine varieties. The product is inspired by Brazilian grilling cheese and feature a cow's milk base with a buttery flavor that evolves with a delicate level of saltiness before a savory finish. The cheese can be sliced and grilled to achieve a crispy exterior texture, but will maintain its consistency without melting to work well in salads, sandwiches and other recipes.
Vice President Marketing & Retail Sales Frank Belfiore spoke on the Caputo’s Grilling Cheese saying, "We’re incredibly excited to connect with the IDDBA community and introduce our Brazilian-inspired Grilling Cheese to attendees. What makes this product so special is its ability to deliver bold flavor, a uniquely satisfying texture, and remarkable versatility across a wide range of different cuisines. We look forward to bringing the sizzle to IDDBA and sharing the passion and possibilities behind this exciting product."
