The cart is outfitted with a tablet display that will highlight targeted deals to the shopper, show them proximity specials and even help them to navigate to certain products in the store. The cart section itself will automatically recognize the products you place within it and let shoppers pay directly from the tablet instead of needing to check out manually at a kiosk.
The Caper Smart Cart is presently being used in two grocery store chains and is set to be rolled out to an additional 150 stores in 2019.
