Pretty soon, the days of multi-step data transferral will be gone. Presented at CES 2015, the Canon Connect Station boasts the ability to pull media from its new NFC-ready devices by simply placing them in close proximity to the cutting-edge hub.
This touch-based sharing technology has been in the works for a few years now, but it's with this product that consumers can come to expect more affordable gadgets to perform such seamless tasks. Priced at around $300, the Canon Connect Station has a 1 Terabyte hard drive, a remote, and it can be easily set up for visuals on your TV, with the capacity to send photographs over Wi-Fi. Five NFC cameras will be launched shortly before this hub hits stores.
