This candy bar grilled cheese involves deep frying KitKats and using them like bread. The experimental sandwich might not look very appetizing, but creator Nick Chipman of DudeFoods insists it tastes "pretty damn good." Chipman previously posted a recipe for an enormous deviled ostrich egg on the same site.
Dubbed the Deep Fried KitKat Grilled Cheese Sandwich, this greasy concoction involved coating two KitKat bars with flour, egg and bread crumbs before briefly deep frying them. Cheese slices were placed between them, creating a candy bar grilled cheese. The 45 second deep frying allowed the sandwich to stay "amazingly intact" as Chipman ate it instead of falling apart in his hands, adding an extra bonus feature.
In the future Chipman is considering creating a burger with a deep fried chocolate chip cookie bun.
