Ghigos Studio's Recycled Stones Repurposes Rocks as Candlestick Holders

Using old rocks, this candlestick holder series challenges how natural elements can be used indoors. Based out of Italy, Ghigos Studio took the same concept as reclaimed wood and put a great geological spin on it with the design of Recycled Stones.

The cylindrical pieces make them ideal as a candlestick holder as well as for holding small stems of plants or flowers. The discarded rocks integrate copper and rusty looking rods too, giving the decor an industrial and earthy look. A solid addition to a minimalist home, the accents would suit a muted or neutral color palette. They make an interesting upcycled gift as well.

Produced by Moro, Recycled Stones exhibited at Salone del Mobile earlier in 2014.
