Responsive Emergency Responder Apps

The Canary Safety Button Quickly Sends Emergency Info

Canary, the startup responsible for the Canary All-in-One, the Canary View and the Canary Flex, has recently updated its app to include its new Canary safety button. Designed to quickly contact first responders, the Canary safety button works wherever you go -- not just from the home. The feature is being powered by Noonlight, an app integration safety platform, and allows users to get help quickly and without having to use their voice.

The Canary safety button appears as a miniature shield and can be accessed through the Canary app's home screen. Holding the icon down will contact emergency responders and inputting your PIN will disable the distress call. If the call is not disabled within 10 seconds, the app will send the user's GPS coordinates to local law enforcement. Fire departments or ambulances can be alerted via text or voice.
