The Campo Viejo Contemporary wines have been debuted as a series of lighter, summer-suited refreshments that are ideal for enjoying during the warm weather season.
The wines include the Blanco and Rose options that each come in with a 10.5% ABV to work well for casual sipping with a variety of light fare. The wines were developed through research and experimentation, and balance out their fresh profiles with a lower alcohol content that taps into consumer interest in products with a lower ABV. The wines will make their debut at Sainsbury's starting June 10, 2026 for £9.50 per bottle.
Global Brand Director at Vinarchy Lucy Bearman commented on the Campo Viejo Contemporary range saying, "With Campo Viejo Contemporary, we’re delighted to bring something new to Campo Viejo wine lovers old and new, while tapping into the growing appetite for lighter wine styles and rosé. This range shows a lighter side of Spanish Rioja, while still carrying the quality and character people expect from Campo Viejo and the region."
