Calorie counting is one of if not the hardest part of dieting as it requires a strong will and an active understanding of not only your own caloric intake but also portion size and proportions. This photo series looks at a variety of different foods and shows us how many calories are a part of the many foods we eat.

200 calories can seem like a lot or a little, depending on your goals and mindset, but what is 200 calories? Well, according to these photos, it can be half a hamburger with no toppings or upwards of ten pieces of celery. These photos outline that dieting and eating right isn’t always as simple as calorie counting would have you think but at the very least we can get a decent amount of bacon in.
