The Williams-Sonoma Beehive Pan Recreates the Bee Home in Edible Form

Williams-Sonoma recently put together a two-tiered cupcake pan that creatively replicates the shape of a beehive, turning desserts into edible versions of the popular bee home. The cupcakes are made in two separate moulds, with one forming the base of the hive and the second forming the top. The layers are designed to be adhered together to create an oval beehive shape.

Bees and beehives often symbolize spring for many consumers, making the beehive cake pan an ideal dessert tray to create three dimensional treats. The dish features six moulds that replicate the swirled honeycomb texture of the beehive with tiny edible bees buzzing around. The other six moulds are flat and form the base. Together the moulds assemble the beehive and can be joined together with a thick layer of icing.
