Caged Floor Lamps

This Home Lighting Takes the Shape of Traditional Lamps but Without the Shade

Designed by Kevin Chiam, this caged floor lamp can be used to light up a room while doubling as sculptural decor items.

The lamp takes on a structured shape with a tall cylindrical base that holds up a lampshade-shaped cage at the top. The LED light on this lamp is nearly invisible as it sits under the round base and is very flat. The cage at the top is a detail that works for both design and function purposes since it can hold decorations such as potted plants and small sculptures. The lamp comes in a variety of colors including black, turquoise and red.

The black version of this caged floor lamp would make the perfect addition to a modern home while a colored one could add a quirky accent to any space.
