The Burger King Star Wars Menu Features Food and Merch

This new Burger King Star Wars menu is making its arrival this spring to coincide with Star Wars Day (May the Fourth) as a series of food options and merch that celebrate the upcoming release of Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu.

The menu puts Star Wars inspiration and branding in the spotlight with options like the BBQ Bounty Whopper as a nod to The Mandalorian, while Grogu's Blue Cookie Shake and Garlic Chicken Fries are a nod to Baby Yoda himself. The menu is rounded out with the Imperial Cheddar Ranch Tots and the King Jr. Meal that includes nuggets or a hamburger, fries, apple sauce, a drink and a toy.

The Burger King Star Wars menu also features four collectible cups that can be accessed by purchasing select bundles including the Bounty Bundle.

Trend Themes

  1. Cinematic-branded QSR Collaborations — Major entertainment tie-ins with fast-food menus create immersive, time-limited culinary experiences that redefine brand partnerships and revenue streams.
  2. Collectible Merchandise Bundling — Bundling exclusive merch with food purchases is turning disposable transactions into collectible-driven repeat visits and secondary market value.
  3. Character-themed Menu Innovation — Menus styled around beloved characters enable hyper-targeted product design and personalized marketing that can extend into AR-led storytelling.

Industry Implications

  1. Quick-service Restaurants — Cross-media licensing and themed limited-time offers are reshaping menu strategy and guest engagement, opening avenues for premium pricing and experiential dining.
  2. Toy and Collectible Manufacturing — Small-batch, co-branded collectibles tied to food promotions introduce opportunities for smart, connected merch and alternative distribution models.
  3. Food Packaging and Licensing — Packaging that doubles as a collectible or a digital access point is transforming supply chains and brand IP monetization through integrated physical-digital experiences.
