Alan Guerzoni's Bugatti Concept Car Re-Imagines a Classic Vechicle

This striking Bugatti concept car design comes from Alan Guerzoni, inspired by the classic 1935 Type 57sc Atlantic coupe.

Guerzoni's concept '2014 Bugatti 12.4 Atlantique' borrows elements from shapely 1930s automobiles like suicide doors, elongated bonnets and a distinct fender that protrudes from the body. Although much of the Atlantique is inspired by a decade that has long since passed, his design mixes the 1930s influence with a sporty futuristic aesthetic, a bold color choice and sustainable technology.

The Atlantique Bugatti features a bi-turbo V12 engine and rear wheel drive with an electric motor, which can be used simultaneously to provide a boost or traction. As Guerzoni describes, this versatile beauty is "perfect to race on a circuit, but also to go slowly to Monte Carlo Marina for a cocktail."
