Budgee Can Carry Up to 50 Pounds and Makes Shopping Infinitely Easier

Five Elements Robotics is doing its part to make grocery shopping (and shopping in general) infinitely easier with Budgee. Budgee is a robot that follows you around and can carry up to 50 pounds of your stuff. The robot is autonomous and uses your phone or tablet as a transmitter. Should you not trust Budgee to follow you around the mall, it can also be controlled manually.

Budgee has a removable basket and can fold down for quick transportation and easy storage. It communicates through your phone or tablet, letting you know when you are walking too fast, if it's out of range, or if you need to recharge its battery (said to be good for six to eight hours). Five Elements Robotics has taken to Kickstarter and is asking for $100,000 in funding. A donation of $1,299 secures you a solid gold Budgee.
