Coffee liqueurs and spirits are traditionally known for their dark color, but the Brunette Clear organic coffee liqueur has been debuted by the Bourdeaux Distilling Co. as an alternative to help expand reach. The product is crafted using de-pulped coffee cherry, otherwise known as cascara, along with coffee blossom that are macerated in organic grain alcohol before being distilled at a low temperature to achieve the clear solution. The final product comes with a 22% ABV and a smooth profile that will work well in a variety of cocktails where a traditional coffee liqueur might not otherwise work.
Arnaud Chevalier of Bordeaux Distilling Co. spoke on the Brunette Clear organic coffee liqueur saying, "Passionate about innovation and sustainability, we’re incredibly proud that Brunette Clear not only raises awareness about a key issue such as waste, but also increases the functionality of coffee liqueurs."
