The Brixton Brewery YES, WE CANS Campaign Encourages Ballot Casting

The Brixton Brewery YES, WE CANS campaign is being run by the brand in the UK in response to the upcoming election and the new regulation regarding voter ID requirements. The campaign, created in partnership with T-Dawg, came about given research that came to light regarding one in 10 British people not having a photo ID required to cast their vote and helps to raise awareness around the issue. The campaign declares that around 11-million people in the UK don't have a valid drivers license or passport, which could cause disruptions to voter turnout during the upcoming elections.

Co-Founder Xochitl Benjamin spoke on the Brixton Brewery YES, WE CANS campaign saying, "We believe every voter matters and every vote counts! No vote is no voice and the new regulations must be more clearly communicated because our research shows people simply aren’t aware of the changes around photo ID. In the spirit of everything that makes Brixton unique, we’re stepping in to raise awareness."
