Moving Observation Towers

The British Airways i360 Tower is About to Open Its Doors to the Public

The British Airways i360 tower has finally been built and will soon be open to the public. Designed by the London Eye architects David Marks and Julia Barfiled, the structure is the world's tallest moving observation tower. The husband and wife team described the tower as "a modern day vertical pier which invites visitors to 'walk on air' and gain a new perspective on the city."

Guests will be able to enter the glass viewing pod and be taken up 450 feet to get an aerial view of Brighton, Hove, the south coast and the English Channel. At night the pod will be turned into the 'Nyetime Sky Bar' where patrons can dine and have drinks while taking flight.

Considering the success of the London Eye and the novelty of the new British Airways i360 tower, the attraction is great for visitors, such as those attending Trend Hunter’s London innovation conference.
