A giant sea creature with an unusual resemblance to Richard Branson has been installed on Bournemouth Beach this morning.
The Branzilla type creature is 25 foot high and weighs a hug 6 tonnes.
It’s made from a mixture of steel, foam and resin and was apparently craned into place overnight – which took a mammoth 6 hours.
Branzilla has been created to launch Virgin Media's newest Big Bundle - The Big Kahuna - and is most certainly making waves in the South.
A team of sculptors took over 500 hours to design and produce the
creature which will be left to look over the beach for another 24 hours.
Beach-goers on the Bournemouth coast were surprised to see the Branzilla creature emerging from the sea. And even more surprised to see it with a blonde, Richard Branson hairstyle and beard.
It was carrying a TV, laptop, landline phone and mobile through the surf and
into the UK to mark the arrival of The Big Kahuna bundle to the UK.
