This box house is designed by New Wave Architecture and is located in the Iran capital, Tehran. The 'Mosha House' is composed of a trio of irregular boxes that feature large windows facing contrasting directions. With this, the house is made to provide residents with a series of different panoramic views.
Built into a steep hill, the box house appears to poke out of the earth in an alluring yet completely unnatural way. Painted in a stark white, the designers intended to ensure that the house stood out against its natural setting, claiming that "the aim was to create a sense of purity." Although the house appears rather small from the outside, it includes luxury features such as an indoor pool and a sauna.
Given the limited property size of the Mosha House, the team at New Wave Architecture used long rectangular shapes to grant more yard space. Space within is capitalized as well by using minimalist furniture and a spiral staircase that blends in with the light wood flooring.
