Botl by Benjamin Helle Creates Cold Water While Riding on the Bike

It's common for designers to take inspiration from objects and familiar places but the Botl by Benjamin Helle is a water canteen that's inspired by the human body.

Helle designed the Botl which is based on the body's natural thermoregulation system. Perspiration occurs because the body is trying to keep cool and it happens when a breeze brushes on sweat beads. If you've ever had a cold beverage in the sun, condensation occurs and this design follows the same concept. This clever design was built to provide users with cold water without having to freeze it or keep it refrigerated.

The Botl is equipped with a porous skin that retains the condensation. In order for it to work, users are to ride their bikes to create drafts of wind. As the wind hits the bottle, it keeps the beverage cooler for a longer period of time.
