Botanical Storing Lids

Cork Producer Amorim is Changing How Distillers Package Their Products

Cork producer Amorim recently unveiled a new line of botanical storing lids, allowing producers to store spices for consumers to mix into their drinks. Known as 'Spice Box,' these swivel lids utilize acrylic, to showcase the unique blend of botanicals producers choose to bundle with their spirits. According to Amorim, the decision to create this unique cork came from the practice of adding botanicals and spices as garnishes to gin.

The botanical storing lids also feature completely sustainable, recyclable and renewable credentials. The top coating of the stopper is comprised of new bio-based polymers that are made exclusively from renewable or biodegradable sources. According to Amorim, "to the best of the company’s knowledge there are no other capsulated cork stoppers available in the market that include bio-based polymer capsules produced from materials of a natural origin."
