Low-Energy Bohemian Abodes

This Uniquely Shaped Wooden Bohemian House is Compact and Cozy

Prague-based studio ASGK designed this bohemian house, which is located on the gorgeous countryside of Czech Republic. The cozy home is built for a family and it contains an abstract shape due to the roofing concept. The roof is higher on one side then it slants downward on an angle and continues flat at a lower section.

This unique shape flows into the entire timber-made bohemian house, which is comprised of sleek parallel wooden paneling. There are many playful features in this home, including the outside porch that can be closed off for privacy, the radiant infra-panels, a wood-burning stove, a relaxation or meditation corner and the small loft.

The heating is specifically crafted to maintain low-energy usage as well as the mineral wool insulation in the walls and roof.
