'Vexconcav' is an artistic nude body portrait series by Berlin-based photographer Lovis Ostenrik. His main vision behind the curated images was to "address social taboos evolving around nudity."
The curated collection of images has accomplished Ostenrik's goal. The positions of the naked bodies and the angle of the shots changes the audience's perspective of nudity. The photos desexualize the model's bare figure and portrays its beauty by creating shapes and forms that are almost unrecognizable as a human body. Focused on the legs and torso of the model, the monochromatic images almost look like sculptures and simple abstract objects.
