The Bobby Abley Fall/Winter 2014 collection recently made its debut at London Fashion Week, bringing a dark, quirky twists to childhood imagery. The menswear collection included oddities like brain-print pants, painted-on widow’s peaks and barbed wire motifs mixed with Mickey Mouse-inspired garments and accessories, plus Disney fonts and trademark Bobby Abley teddy bear accessories. The collection was inspired by a haunted "Phantom Manor" and the Halloween-like inspiration is certainly not lost.
Definitely one of the most unmissable parts of the collection is its use of silver facial jewelry pieces, which keeps the models' mouthes open and bares their teeth. These accessories bear a striking resemblance to those used in Lucie Vincini’s collection for the Royal College of Art's graduate fashion show.
