Bob Mazzer Captures Rare Moments in the London Underground

For over 45 years, Bob Mazzer has been capturing the strange and quirky happenings at the London Underground. His ongoing series gives the New York subway system a run for its money in regards to the characters people encounter on a daily basis. Yet what makes Bob Mazzer's photographs even more special is the fact that they often revolve around serendipitous scenes like a man urinating around the corner of a cuddling couple.

Although the work of Bob Mazzer is impressive on its own, it was only after the Spitalfields Life blog started to post the images last year that he got much notice. He is now about to enjoy his debut exhibition at London’s Howard Griffin Gallery, showcasing choice vintage images from his extensive collection.
