Gesture-Based Car Customization

The BMW Product Navigator

The ability to customize your own BMW is badass enough, but doing so virtually through a Microsoft Surface with BMW’s Product Navigator takes this technology to the extreme.

Drivers can customize their next whip by placing colored tiles on the BMW Product Navigator’s surface. They can also drag options from the toolbar to their car using the gesture-sensitive touchscreen.

After drivers are finished creating their cars, they can print their creation directly from the BMW Product Navigator. This is the first of what will surely be a long line of Microsoft Surface marketing ploys to come.
