The company works mostly in assisting companies to create and implement policies for data accessing, Blue Talon also has data auditing services. Both of the companies have not indicated any of the costs surrounding the acquisition, however, before the deal, Blue Talon was able to raise $27.4 million USD.
Microsoft's corporate VP for Azure Data believes the acquisition will allow enhanced data security along with an increased ability to push the industry forward.
