Giant Floral Horses

Kempton Park Flower Horse Prances Onto Hampton Court

The Kempton Park racecourse has unveiled an unusual stud out of the starting gates -- a giant flower horse. The equine welcomes visitors to the neighboring Hampton Court Palace Flower Show and was created to mark the racecourse's annual Best of British Gala Night on July 14.

The 6' x 7' living sculpture weighs over 50 kilos. The flower horse took a team of designers, engineers and florists two weeks to construct, and includes over 800 seasonal plants and flowers.
