Color-Exploding Store Facades

'Bloom Bloom Bloom' by Emmanuelle Moureaux Blasts with Style

For Issey Miyake's latest launch of 'Bloom Bloom Bloom' in the Isetan and Mitsukoshi department store in Tokyo, French architect Emmanuelle Moureaux creates a storefront that definitely lures customers in.

Moureaux's set design is canvased with a white background with a blast of colorful spring flowers made to express the "bloom" theme. The theme of blooming flowers is meant to flourish and coincide with the inception of the latest collection 'Bloom Skin,' which is created by Miyake's new designer Yoshiyuki Miyamae.

The vibrant sculptures made to portray flowers definitely draws attention; the colors drastically contrast with the white background to illuminate both the clothing and the store's platform. 'Bloom Bloom Bloom' is a creative outcome of works combining fashion and architecture.
