Viewer-Rewarding Livestreams

Various BlizzCon Livestreams on Facebook Will Offer Prizes to Viewers

Thanks to a partnership between Blizzard Entertainment and Facebook, fans can watch various BlizzCon livestreams through the popular social media platform. The streams will run both before and after the convention, with viewers being rewarded for watching certain Blizzcon livestreams. The streams began on October 25, 2018, with pre-show content featuring creators from Facebook's Gaming Creator program. The prizes offered before BlizzCon will include a Virtual event ticket, $10 off the BlizzCon 2018 Goody Bag and 20% off merchandise from this year's events.

To be eligible for the prizes, users will have to be logged into their Facebook account and watch for at least 10 minutes.

These Blizzcon livestreams follow Facebook's streaming success after working with Grand Theft Auto developer Rockstar Games. Past livestreams have also included prizes for viewers who tuned into certain content.
