By providing spatial and contextual information to cyclists throughout their journey, the helmet is poised to complete change how frequent bikers take to the road and navigate traffic. Unique proposed functions of the helmet include wayfinding with landmark prompts, pollution-free routing and route rectification in addition to blind-spot visualization.
Some of the proposed functions require attachable devices, such as one tool that attaches to the handlebars and gauges the quality of the air surround the cyclist while suggesting alternative routes that are free of pollution.
