Burger King is Testing Out BK Delivery Service in Select States

The BK delivery service from Burger King is a new -- and interesting -- idea in the world of fast food. Burger King, which has already launched successful delivery services in Mexico, Turkey, Brazil, Columbia and Peru, hopes that a delivery service in the United States will help boost sales.

Burger King is currently testing out the BK delivery service in the states of Maryland and Virginia at only four locations. The company plans to increase the service to 16 locations by Jan. 23, says BrandChannel. Regardless, with any delivery service, there are fees and restrictions (the question is whether they are worth it for fast food items). For example, you can use the BK delivery service only from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., orders must be at least $8 or $10 (based on location) and there is a $2 charge for every delivery. What's more, milkshakes, coffees and breakfast items are not available for delivery.
