Chinese Deer Penis Wine

Traditional Chinese medicine suggests that deer penis, usually ingested while soaked in alcohol, is an effective remedy for athletic injuries.

In the lead-up to the Beijing Olympic games, however, Chinese Olympic officials advised national athletes not to take the traditional remedy because it may contain some banned substances like the stimulant herbal ephedrine.

Like most Chinese wines, this stuff is apparently brutally strong and certainly not something you sip for enjoyment.

If you are still keen to give it a try after coming face to face with the big glass jar filled with liquor with a preserved porn star-sized deer penis in the middle, sitting down to a shot of it will set you back around $9.00.
