Hardee's Turned Its 'Made From Scratch Biscuits' Into a Fruity Biscuit Ale

Made From Scratch Biscuits are famous at Hardee's and now fans have a new way to enjoy them for a limited time thanks to the Strawberry Biscuit Ale that was created in collaboration with the Southern Grist brewery. This unique ale was made possible with an infusion of 200 pounds of savory biscuits that resulted in a full-bodied, cream ale that's said to have notes of strawberry jam and buttermilk.

The Nashville-based brewery worked diligently to perfect the recipe of biscuits, strawberry puree, grain, hops, yeast and water to recreate the delicious biscuit experience Hardee's customers know, love and expect. CKE Restaurants VP of Global Culinary Innovation Owen Klein describes the Strawberry Biscuit Ale by Southern Grist Brewing Co. as "an amazing crushable beer."
