Flaming Sculptural Monuments

The Bicentennial Torch is a Tribute to the Heroes of Mexico

A tribute to the heroes of your country is seriously patriotic and that's exactly why the Bicentennial Torch in Guanajuato, México is inspiring.

Designed by architects Jesus Hernandez Martinez and Jose Pareja Gomez, and project team Abdiel Miranda, Isai Padilla, Eduardo Muñoz and Claudia Perez, the structure is 45-meters tall and the steel element consists of 100 rings with 100 voids. To add to that, this patriotic structure springs from the soil and acts as a flaming lamp at night. With around 200 scars on the body of the structure, the rings range sky-high with beams of light that symbolize the independence and future of the country.

This monument represents the independent living of Mexico and is a must-see for all those who are planning to visit. The flames lit at night are simply enchanting and if you don't believe me, check out the gallery.
