Quirky Brainstorming Campaigns

The 'Bic Idea' Ads Illustrate the Creativity of a Ballpoint Pen

Pens are usually thought of as an obsolete writing tool compared to the swiftness of a keyboard, but these Bic Idea print ads illustrate just how powerful a ballpoint pen can be.

The campaign includes five different images created by Publicis advertising agency in Spain; each feature hand-drawn brainstorming illustrations within different quirky and comical topics. My favorite ad from the Bic Idea campaign is the 'Anti Shark Attack Suits' which includes drawings of suits of strawberries, leeks and tomatoes that will presumably protect one from a shark's sharp fangs. These Bic print ads reveal that putting pen to paper can provide inspiration for even the most absurd subjects.

The Bic Idea campaign acts as a reminder for the creativity (and big ideas) that only a pen can make.
