Beverly's Birthdays Provides Birthday Cheer for Homeless Youth

Beverly's Birthdays is a non-profit organization providing birthday parties for homeless youth living in transitional shelters in Pittsburgh. Beverly's Birthdays is doing its part in championing the belief that every child, including the over 1.6 million homeless children in the US, deserve to revel in birthday cheer.

Founder Megan Yunn started Bev's Birthdays in 2011 after meeting a 12-year-old named Beverly's whose story inspired her mission to "spread birthday cheer 365 days a year" for homeless Pittsburgh youth who need it most.

Boosted by the noble notion that the cause matters because the children matter, Bev's Birthdays boasts a partnership with the Sojourner House MOMS program, organizing monthly birthday celebrations for children of mothers participating in the residential faith-based recovery program.
