Off-Runway Fashion Shows

Betsey Johnson Stirs Up 'Betsey Crocker's Recipes for Dressing'

Betsey Johnson didn’t show her Fall 2009 "Betsey Crocker’s Recipes for Dressing" collection on the runway, but rather in her New York showroom. Models roamed the room in the designer’s fabulous ‘gothtastic’ outfits with names such as, "Cherry Cordial and "Sock It to Me Stew."

Johnson’s wacky style is full throttle with flouncy tutu dresses layered with piles of tulle, leopard-print leggings and ultra-wide corset belts. You have to love the knit baby pink and blue hot pant outfit.

The fun casual atmosphere and cartoon coloured backdrop was perfectly suited for another fantastic Betsey Johnson collection launch.
