BeReal Introduces the Celeb-Exclusive 'RealPeople' Feed on its App

BeReal, a social media app that prompts users to take a photo of what they're doing at a random time of day, has just debuted a new feature that will bring celebrity and influencer-created content to the forefront. The new 'RealPeople' feed is a social feed dedicated to famous people, and BeReal also allows you to submit a form to recommend someone (or yourself) for the exclusive timeline.

Currently, the function is only being tested by the app in the UK. Users must select the Discovery tab and then the RealPeople button to try it out.

"RealPeople isn’t about influencing, amassing likes or comments, or promoting brands," BeReal wrote in a press release. "You won’t see photoshopped pictures, product recommendations or ads disguised as posts. It’s trying to show we’re all more alike than we think."
